Vikki Butler

With an Early Childhood degree and international experience in South Africa and the UK, our Service Director offers thoughtful and experienced leadership. Since joining the service in 2013, she has guided its growth from 20 children to a vibrant community of 80.

Her background as an Early Childhood Teacher, alongside 20 years in administrative roles, supports the smooth running of the service while maintaining the highest standards of care. Deeply committed to child safety, she approaches her role with genuine warmth and passion, fostering a welcoming environment for children, families, and staff alike.

Jack Shanley

Jack has been at the service since 2012, learning and sharing many roles over the years. He helps to create a safe, warm, friendly, educational environment where the children and staff feel supported and encouraged to be themselves and support one another. He also knows where every little bit of equipment and resource goes!

Maddie English

On the team since 2022, Maddie has quickly progressed into a role supporting the day-to-day running of the service. Currently studying a Master of Organisational Psychology and having completed a BSc Hons (Psychology & Education Studies), she is dedicated to helping create meaningful experiences for children.

Callum O’Brien

On the team since 2023 and also a previous Australia Street student himself, Callum is committed to supporting the service. Currently studying a Bachelor of Education (Secondary), he strives to create a supportive, caring and safe environment for children.

Milla Serafin

Milla has been a part of the team since 2024. Currently studying a Master of Pharmacy and having completed a Bachelor of Medical Science, she brings a strong understanding of health and wellbeing to her role. Milla is passionate about working with children and is committed to creating a safe, supportive, and engaging environment where they can learn and thrive.
